John Goodson founded Merito more than 24 years ago on the principle of providing excellence to customers. John brings an extensive engineering and computer science background to the business, with a BSBA in Business and Computer Information Systems. Under his leadership, Merito grew into a Platinum-level partner across the major application security and application development management ecosystems while maintaining superior customer retention.

Andrew Carpenter, Director of Professional Services, leads delivery operations, consultant development, and quality assurance across the Merito vendor-agnostic services portfolio. Each of the five practice areas (SAP, ALM, AppSec, DevOps, accessibility) has a senior practice lead who owns scoping, delivery quality, and customer outcome for that discipline. The professional services organization rolls up to the executive team and ultimately to the CEO.

Louis Tadman is Chief Technology Officer at Merito. Louis brings prior leadership experience from Google, where he led one of the company's most impactful global initiatives of its time. At Merito, he leads the charge in leveraging advanced technologies to empower clients, foster innovation, and position Merito at the forefront of the enterprise software services market.

Chris Carpenter is Chief Operations Officer at Merito. A serial entrepreneur with a passion for operational excellence, Chris is dedicated to making processes efficient and delivering measurable results. He believes Merito's competitive edge is being easy to work with while providing the ultimate customer experience, and he promotes a culture where success is measured by the careers Merito helps build at its customers.

Tom Haakma is Vice President of Sales at Merito. With 8+ years in cybersecurity specializing in application security and 20+ years in IT (including the Department of Justice and San Diego Unified School District), Tom focuses on building relationships and matching the right solution to the customer problem. He has helped over 250 customers implement successful security practices and platforms, and he is an active member of OWASP, ISSA, and ISACA.
