Most Atlassian engagements involve Jira configuration and rationalization, Data Center to Cloud migration, Jira Service Management rollouts for ITSM and ESM, Confluence wired into requirements, runbooks and release notes, and data migration in and out when platforms change. Training, staff augmentation and Signature Support keep the footprint healthy after go-live.
Atlassian portfolio
Atlassian is the default work management fabric for software, IT, and service teams.
Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence work spans Data Center rollouts where they still make sense, Cloud migrations on Atlassian's sunset timeline, and the day-to-day configuration, automation and integration that decide whether an Atlassian footprint keeps helping teams or slows them down.
Why Merito for Atlassian
Rollout, migration and admin work decide whether Atlassian stays productive.
Atlassian is a platform decision, not a product decision. Most enterprises already run Jira and Confluence. The open question is how the footprint is configured, where it is hosted, how it connects to the delivery toolchain, and how it is kept healthy as teams, schemes, and automations multiply.
Hosting is the near-term forcing function. Atlassian stopped selling Data Center to new customers on March 30, 2026, will stop selling to existing customers on March 30, 2028, and ends support on March 28, 2029. Every Data Center customer is on a migration clock. Regulated, sovereign, and air-gapped programs with qualifying exceptions can extend, but most DC footprints are heading to Cloud or to a different ALM.
Merito sits on the delivery side of that decision. We run Data Center while it is still the right call, plan and execute Cloud migrations with the Cloud Migration Assistant, adding FastShift where it applies, and handle the less glamorous work, meaning permission schemes, custom fields, workflow rationalization, Marketplace app consolidation, and the integration layer between Jira and the rest of the delivery toolchain.
The Atlassian toolchain
The Atlassian footprint Merito configures, migrates, and keeps healthy.
On-prem ALM
Jira Data Center
On-prem Jira for regulated, sovereign, and air-gapped programs. Atlassian is sunsetting Data Center. It can be run well while it fits, with the migration planned for when it does not.
SaaS ALM
Jira Cloud
Atlassian's go-forward Jira SKU. Premium and Enterprise editions, Rovo AI, Advanced Roadmaps, and the new baseline for most Atlassian footprints.
ITSM and ESM
Jira Service Management
IT service management, enterprise service management, incident management, and change. Formerly Jira Service Desk.
Merito services
Implementation, migration, DevOps and support services across the Atlassian portfolio
01Service
Implementation
Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence rollouts with schemes, workflows, and automation designed for the actual team, not a template.
02Service
Data Migration
Jira Data Center to Cloud migrations, and Jira DC to Spira or Planview migrations when the team is moving platforms, not just hosting.
03Service
DevOps Consulting
Jira wired into CI/CD, source control, test management, and release gating so the board reflects what pipelines are actually doing.
04Service
Training and Enablement
Role-based training for Jira admins, project leads, and service managers. Less clicks-per-task, fewer support tickets.
05Service
Staff Augmentation
Merito-placed Jira admins, JSM architects, and Confluence power users embedded with your team.
06Service
Signature Support
Ongoing admin support for Jira, JSM, and Confluence so configuration drift, Marketplace app sprawl, and permission creep stay managed.
Atlassian delivery
Atlassian footprints do not fix themselves. Merito does.
Configuration drift, Marketplace app sprawl, stalled DC to Cloud migrations, and disconnected JSM rollouts are common. Tell us the shape of your Atlassian footprint and we will tell you what to do next.

Pick the Atlassian problem. Merito delivers the work.
Whether the gap is a DC to Cloud migration, a JSM rollout, or a Jira footprint that needs rationalizing, a Merito conversation starts with the scope of your environment, not a product pitch.
