The company needed to synchronize 10 projects between Jira and SpiraTest to improve communication, defect tracking, and test coverage. The team took several key steps: Aligning Jira and SpiraTest configurations by working with Stellantis' Jira administrators to ensure a smooth connection between platforms Rationalizing and consolidating 107 custom Jira fields into a more manageable structure aligned with SpiraTest, enhancing traceability and reducing long-term maintenance Overcoming system limitations by finding a workaround to synchronize Jira tasks with SpiraTest, even though this feature was not included in the standard licensing Educating on capabilities of both Jira and SpiraTest allowing them to better understand their environment and make more informed decisions moving forward Adapting to shifting requirements and timelines by maintaining open communication, including daily check-ins to keep the projects on track bullet ul Results h2 Improved Traceability - The new system provided better visibility into test cases, defects, and development changes.
