The new User Management API lets Panaya administrators create and update users, including users in bulk, and maintain project and role assignments through external user-management integrations.
What changed
- Expanded User Management APIs: Teams can create users, update user information, and add, change, or remove project and role assignments. This supports administration workflows that connect Panaya with external IdP systems.
- Authenticator app MFA: Users can set up Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or another supported authenticator app from User Profile > Security by scanning a QR code. They can choose between app-based verification or email verification codes.
- Seemore Copilot search and filter: Users with AI features enabled can ask Seemore Copilot to find and filter Requirements, Tests, and Defects. Requests such as passed tests or open defects owned by a named user return filtered records instead of requiring manual filter setup.
- Seemore Copilot context-aware assistance (Beta): Seemore can use the current Panaya view to summarize tests, explain results, and point out failed or blocked items.
- Smart Report improvements: Panaya Testing Smart Reports use an improved AI model and higher-resolution video to reduce missed steps and incorrect values. Recordings can now run up to 60 minutes with automatic upload retries and report regeneration also now available.
- Multilingual Smart Fill and Improve: Smart Fill and Improve detect the primary language of a test and generate or refine test content in that language.
- Not Ready to Test details: A new View Details button shows the readiness conditions that prevent a test from being executed.
SAP and requirements management changes
- S/4Accelerate: SAP upgrade teams can work in one S/4Accelerate project that combines impact analysis, S/4Code automatic code corrections, and AI-Assisted Corrections.
- Business Suite on HANA projects (Beta): The new unified project brings impact analysis, automatic corrections, and AI-assisted corrections together. It includes a redesigned dashboard, Fix Packages, and reporting that includes ATC findings.
- Excel mass updates: Teams can download an Excel file, edit standard or custom fields, and upload it to update multiple Level 1 requirements and features. The guided flow validates data, maps users, and follows existing edit permissions.
- Saved dynamic filters: Views opened from dashboards or reports can now be saved, changed, and shared, allowing users to reuse list configurations.
- SAP Note application-component filtering: The Note Application Component field in the Corrections list is searchable and filterable for SAP Notes and related corrections.
- Code review after submission: Submitted Fix Packages and corrections retain a dedicated tab with the original code, corrected code, and submission confirmation.
- Reset Submit Status: Users can reset corrections stuck in Submit in Progress after a confirmation warning. Before doing so, they must verify that Panaya and SAP code are synchronized.
- Multiple Fix Package submission: Users can submit up to 50 Fix Packages in one action, within limits of 300 corrections and 100 objects.
- Multilingual AI-Assisted Fix Summaries: Fix Summary content is translated for display and Excel export in the selected language, while technical identifiers such as ABAP object names remain unchanged.
What this means for your team
QA engineers can locate test evidence, test status, and defects with Copilot requests, then use health details to understand why execution is blocked. Test authors working across languages can keep generated content aligned with the test language, while longer Smart Reports support more complete recorded workflows. QA managers can reuse shared views and update large requirement sets through Excel. For SAP delivery work, teams can follow corrections from analysis through submission and review, including AI-assisted correction activity, with fewer repeated package submissions.
