Tosca Cloud users can now convert an existing test case into a linked qTest test case, allowing test cases to move in both directions between Tosca Cloud and qTest.

Convert Tosca Cloud test cases to qTest

October 2026 adds conversion of existing Tosca Cloud test cases into linked qTest test cases. The connection now supports sending test cases from Tosca Cloud to qTest and from qTest back to Tosca Cloud.

This change affects teams using both products to manage test work across connected environments.

qTest now provides an option to unlink a test case from Tosca Cloud when the case needs to be edited. The release identifies unlinking as the action available for changing an otherwise connected test case.

This applies to users working with test cases linked through the Tosca Cloud integration.

Disable the Tosca Cloud integration

A qTest project can now disable its Tosca Cloud integration. This option is intended for projects that need to change workspaces, leave a Tenant Management set, or stop using the integration.

Disabling the integration resets Integration Settings and converts linked test cases back to manual test cases.

Added Canada region

qTest adds the ca-central-1 region for Canadian users in North America. This expands the regions named for qTest users in the October 2026 release.

Availability

Tricentis is gradually rolling out some features, so they may take a few days to appear in a customer environment.
