OpenText Information Archive

OpenText Information Archive is the general-purpose archiving product carried from the InfoArchive lineage. It targets application retirement (sunsetting legacy systems while preserving required records), long-term records retention, and regulatory archiving where content must be preserved past the active system's lifecycle.

The product's defining strength is heterogeneous source coverage. Legacy ERPs, email archives, database-backed applications, content repositories, and custom systems can all retire into Information Archive with their records preserved, indexed, and accessible for regulatory retrieval.

Implementation is primarily migration and retention work. Which legacy applications retire, what records must survive, what retrieval patterns auditors and business users need, and what disposition rules apply.
