Low-code SAP replication
No custom pipeline code required for common SAP-to-cloud flows.
Syniti • Data management
Syniti Data Replication moves SAP data to cloud analytics targets in real time. Merito sets it up for ongoing analytics architectures without custom pipeline code.
Merito sells Syniti Data Replication (SDR) licenses and delivers replication flow design and monitoring for SAP-to-cloud analytics architectures. Change data capture for Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, and other targets.
What it is
Syniti Data Replication (SDR) is a low-code replication and change-data-capture product for moving SAP and non-SAP data into cloud analytics targets. Unlike one-time migration tooling, SDR keeps data flowing continuously so analytics stays current.
SDR is the right fit when SAP is the system of record and the analytics team lives downstream in Snowflake, Databricks, or a similar cloud platform. It avoids the cost of building and maintaining custom CDC pipelines for every SAP source.
Merito delivers SDR implementation, replication flow design, monitoring and alerting, and CoE handover. SDR is not part of the Syniti ADMM migration product. It is a separate subscription for ongoing analytics data movement.
Ideal use cases
What it is best at
No custom pipeline code required for common SAP-to-cloud flows.
Real-time CDC keeps analytics current rather than daily refresh.
Native connectors for Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery.
Core capabilities
The core function.
SAP CDC connectors
Change data capture from SAP ECC and S/4HANA without custom extraction.
Cloud target delivery
Native delivery to Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery.
Transformation in flight
Light in-flow transformations without needing a separate ETL tier.
Keep replication flows healthy in production.
Flow monitoring
Throughput, latency, and error dashboards per replication flow.
Alerting
Routing of replication failures to on-call channels.

Deployment and implementation
Licensing and packaging
SDR base
Core replication capacity across common SAP and cloud target pairs.
Best for: Most ongoing SAP-to-cloud analytics architectures.

Merito point of view
Merito's recommendation is SDR for customers whose analytics teams currently wait on nightly SAP extracts or are maintaining custom CDC pipelines. SDR replaces the pipeline build with a managed product and gives analytics current data without an extraction headcount.
For one-time migration scope, SDR is the wrong tool. Syniti ADMM or SAP ADMM is the right fit. SDR is for ongoing movement, not for migration events.
Merito recommends pairing SDR with Tricentis Data Integrity for validation on high-importance flows where incorrect data landing in analytics would cause business decisions to go wrong.
